Dispatch: The Paris Ethical Fashion Show

Violette Loosen attended the recent Ethical Fashion Show in Paris and shared some of her findings with Rubina Magazine. There were some exciting and innovative projects and companies represented–Rubina hopes to be joining them there, in the near future!

The show was divided into geographic themes:

South–the Earth

East–Body and Soul

North–The Sea

West–The City

Other exciting offerings included:

Handmade alpaca accessories from Bolivia by Andes Made

The woman-owned and woman-run Della, which works with a community in West Africa

A French pair, Juliette Imbert & Céline Montousse, who are using waste fabric from luxury brands

Nyaya (“justice” in Sanskrit), a company making ethically-produced gold jewelry
